Rare photo of O. chierchiae in an aquarium (mantle length ~2 cm). This species reported primarily from the Pacific coast of Panama is very poorly known. This image illustrates the species distinctive body pattern: white with dark brown stripes or bands. Variations on this pattern have not been reported. A pronounced distal mantle tip papilla can be seen as well as two lesser expressed papillae on the dorsal mantle and eye papillae.
