Imaging technique: 

Skin of an Octopus burryi showing patch and groove pattern characteristic of certain species. Each patch is defined by a groove surrounding it and each patch can display the full range of colors shown. The bright white color is produced by reflective leucophores. All other colors are produced by differential expansion of chromatophores.
