Imaging technique: 

This O. vulgaris is going into a deimatic display in response to the camera. The animal is in about seven meters of water and the picture was taken without a flash, so the colors you see in the image would be the same as the ones you would see if you were in the water with the animal. Image 1495 is a close-up of the head of this same individual during a full deimatic display.
